
Phil Wang is a fourth-year studying Engineering at King's and performs stand-up as well as sketches in smokers. He is a regular on the Cambridge stand-up circuit, co-organising and performing often at the Wolfson Howler. Phil also co-founded, organises and comperes the King's Jest.
Pierre is in his third year, reading ASNC at Corpus Christi and he performs regularly in the Footlights Smokers. He performs stand up regularly all around Cambridge town. He also founded, organises and hosts the Corpus Smoker. He co-wrote and performed in "Now, Now" as well as "The Mexican Standoff", as well as being a regular panellist on the "Fo' Show".
Theo is a third year reading Theology at Trinity Hall. He regurlarly writes and performs sketches in Smokers. His next project is a sketch show called ''BROODY'', created with Ryan O'Sullivan. He has also acted in a number of plays in Cambridge, including ETG's ''A Midsummer Night's Dream'', ''The Merchant of Venice'' and ''Betrayal''.
Lowell is a third year, reading English at Jesus. He has co-written and performed in the sketch show "Now, Now", co-written the Footlights Spring Revue 2011 "Odds", written and directed his own comic play "Theoretically", as well as writing and performing regularly in Footlights Smokers. He co-directed the new play "Verge" and performed at the Oxford Playhouse earlier this year.
Jason is a third-year undergraduate at Jesus College where he should be reading English. He has written various monologues and sketches for performance at Footlights Smokers, was a co-writer of the Footlights Spring Revue 2011, and co-wrote and performed in the sketch show Now, Now as a member of the sketch troupe ‘Care of Douglas’. As well as performing at the Cambridge Comedy Festival, the Oxford Playhouse, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he has also appeared in a number of plays in Cambridge, including Noises Off; The Shape of Things; The Life Doctor; The Invention of Love; Twelfth Night; Measure for Measure; the Cambridge American State Tour’s production of Macbeth; and The Taming of the Shrew with the European Tour Group. He has also provided his voice as Horatio in Hamlet, Ross in Macbeth, and Agrippa in Antony and Cleopatra,on behalf of the audio resource, ‘Open Shakespeare’. His Shakespeare-heavy CV is born of his love for things old, which is ever more pertinent considering his position as the Footlights Archivist.
Ali Lewis is in his third year, reading Politics, Psychology and Sociology at Clare. He regularly performs stand-up, and occasionally sketches, in various smokers around Cambridge. He was a co-writer and performer in 'The Mexican Standoff', has performed in two 'Comedy Festivals' with the Oxford and Durham revues, and travelled to Edinburgh with 'Footlights Present...'.
Ahir is a second-year student reading Politics, Psychology and Sociology at Clare College. He has written and performed both stand-up and sketch comedy extensively in his time at university, enjoying mixed success.
Ryan O'Sullivan is a third year English student at Girton College. He is a regular writer/performer in Footlights Smokers, co-wrote 'Misc.' - Cambridge's first gameshow - and performed in 'Odds' the 2011 Footlights Spring Revue. He also wrote and directed 'Broody' a dark sketch comedy show which he hopes to take to the Edinburgh Fringe festival next year.
Emma reads French and Spanish at Emmanuel College. She has performed in the 2009 Footlights Pantomime 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves', she co-wrote and performed in the sketch show 'Now, Now' in 2010 and co-wrote and co-directed the 2011 Footlights Spring Revue, 'Odds'. She performs regularly in Smokers and has also performed at the Union Comedy Debate, the Footlights Comedy Festival and has hosted Cambridge's very own version Blind Date (all in the name of Love). She performs with the comedy improvisation group Alcock Improv. Other acting credits include CAST 2010's 'The Tempest' and 'Closer', 2011.
Ben is in his fourth year reading Medicine at Girton College. In addition to his role on the committee Ben has toured with The Real Inspector Hound (CUADC) and Wind in the Willows (CUADC). He has also produced a number of shows including Secret Heart (Alcock) and stage managed others including Romeo and Juliet (Marlowe).
