As they once again put their notoriety on the line, the Cambridge lot prove that this comedy gene pool just refuses to dry up. You don't have to be as intelligent as these guys to 'get' their humour, their infamous predecessors have been educating the rest of us for long enough.
The contents of the show is just as you'd expect with many a tenuous link for many an off-the-wall sketch. All the cast exude stage presence and individual personality whilst retaining great timing and belly laughs; undoubtedly though it's Ed Weeks who steals the show as a dodgy Suffolk barman with a penchant for Robert Palmer.
Not everything's perfect, I still craved more hilarity but, with a little maturity, these are surely the stars of tomorrow. Should they follow in their predecessors footsteps - rest assured, there are more comedy classics to come from Cambridge.
